24:Season 6

So here's something to be happy about! The season premiere of 24. What are they going to do with Jack this season!?

Yes, now you know where to find me on Monday nights...that's right, hanging out with Kiefer!

I saw the first couple of hours last night....not sure so far if it can beat last year.

I understand what they're trying to do with Jack's character. Heck 2 years of torture in a Chinese prison could break anyone down but I'm just not so sure I'm buying Jack as a defeated figure yet. We'll see where the next two hours of action take us tonight.

On another note, do you watch The Office by any chance? It's a sense of humour that some people don't get but I really like it. Last Thursday's episode was perfect for anyone who has ever done any type of "sales call" in their profession.

I think we'll see Jack back in action...kiefer signed a 3 year contract so he can't go soft!!! Season's looking good so far. Seriously, I think it's one of the only really happy things in January for me. I'm hooked!

I haven't watched the office (although from what I hear, I live it!!!) but keep being told I should. I like the cast. Might have to check it out now...

Jack's back baby! And what an end to the first four hours. But my question is...how can anyone cut their own hair so nicely?

So what did you think of last nights 2 hours?

It was a great 24 tragic moment when Jack had to shoot Curtis wasn't it? I hope they don't let this story line (Jack as a broken man) go as it really has the potential to go places.

So????

Finished episode 4 and I'm hooked...20 hours to go!!!! Dunn, you're right, I want to be able to cut my hair that well or look that good in jeans and a sweatshirt...hmmm...and Tim, you wait, I think the nukes (not to spoil it for anyone else) will shake him back into action. I'm with Dunn, Jack's back!!!

Definitely sad that Jack had to shoot Curtis...Jack tends to lose allies quite readily, doesn't he? But I have to admit, I was much more surprised with the nuke. I figured they were going to be chasing the bomb around this season (I even said aloud to Laura that "they're not there anymore" referring to the shop/warehouse place they showed the terrorists at, and that the tac unit was going to storm), but I actually yelled in surprise when they used it. Yeah, I tend to get a little wrapped up in the show while I'm watching it.

But of course there's got to be four more nukes! Hmmm...kind of reminds me of tracking down containers of syntox gas (a la last season).

Chloe's hair looks good.

I would love to comment on 24, but since I don't watch it... The Office, though, Stacey, is a fantastically humourous show. It's perfect for any office people. Haha... I'm laughing just thinking about it...

BTW, Corner Gas is on Mondays too.

Sheryl, I've heard I need to watch the office...I figure we could provide enough material around here for them to write a whole season!!! One of my coworkers and I want to pick up last season and watch it...but 24, I'm telling you, you'll be hooked!

You can definitely start at any season and pick things up. It helps that they do the recaps at the beginning of each episode (with the names of the main characters next to their faces).

Hey Stacey,

I'm thinking you should take on the worthy task of posting a quick 24 review every Tuesday so we can all read and join in.

Maybe a quick survey of how many 24 viewers are out there and would take part would figure if this was worth it.

Up for it?

I don't know, Tim...I actually missed it last night. It's a good thing the first 6 episodes are online so I can catch up tonight! I'll try to get you an update then!
